The La Chapelle d'Abondance area includes 2 ski sectors, Braitaz (linked to Torgon) and Crêt-Béni which total 24 slopes. This is the ideal area for lovers of wide open spaces, fir trees and nature, from the green slope for beginners to the red slope for experienced skiers.
Between France and Switzerland, explore the 35 km of slopes in the resorts of La Chapelle d'Abondance and Torgon (Téleski Dieu des têtes, Téléski de conche 2000).

One of the largest ski areas in Europe with more than 600 km of ski slopes, the Portes du Soleil includes 12 linked resorts: 8 French resorts including Châtel, La Chapelle d'Abondance, Avoriaz, Morzine, Montriond, Les Gets, St Jean d'Aulps and Abondance, and 4 Swiss resorts: Champéry, Torgon, Morgins, les Crosets-Val d'Illiez-Champoussin
Châtel is located in the heart of the domain and allows direct access to Avoriaz from the Pré la Joux sector or to Morgins and Torgon from the Super Châtel sector.
